A Conference Titled "My Mental Health and Changes"

 

Under the patronage of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch and All the East, and within the series of "Cultural Meetings to Build a New Syria", the third dialogue conference titled "My Mental Health and Changes" was held in the Church of Saint Paisios-Jaramana, presented by Dr. Nidal Naqoul and Dr. Mai Turkmani, and interviewed by Mrs. Rania Hakima.

The conference addressed the definition of positive and negative anxiety, and described the physical, psychological and behavioral symptoms that accompany abnormal anxiety, which require therapeutic intervention.

It also addressed ways to deal with anxiety and disorder in times of major changes, and behaviors that help in getting rid of anxiety.

The questions of the audience and the interventions were enriching, and the conference was concluded by Archimandrite Elian Sanije, who highlighted the importance of prayer in establishing peace in the soul.
