                    His Beatitude John X the patriarch of Antioch and the entire East, Congratulates His Excellency general Michel Aoun for being elected president of the Lebanese Republic.

                    His Beatitude John X the patriarch of Antioch and the entire East conveyed a message of congratulation to His Excellency the president Michel Aoun of the Lebanese Republic, on the occasion of his being elected president to the Lebanese Republic, wishing him success and prosperity.

                     He also wished him on behalf of the Orthodox Antiochian Church success in leading this beloved country, so as to overcome the difficulties that have been blown against it, and help Lebanon and its children, have peace, freedom, and tranquility in an atmosphere full of solidarity, synergy and cooperation.

                    His Beatitude prayed that God may strengthen the new president in his service and mission to lead Lebanon to prosperity and development.
