His Beatitude John X meets the governer of Sharja…

Within His pastoral and official visit to the United Arab Emirates, His Beatitude John X met His Excellency Sheikh Sultan Al-Qasimy governer of Sharja, the Supreme Chief of the American University in Sharja. Through the meeting that gathers representatives from the American University in Sharja and from the University of Balamand and members of their Boards of Trustees, they discussed the importance of universities in preparing the future open-minded generation. Also, both parties, emphasized on the need to preserve the Christian and Islamic values, those values that built and still building the civilization around the world.
