A Joint Lebanese-Syrian Delegation Visits the Patriarchal Headquarters
Damascus, February 4, 2025
 
With the blessing of His Beatitude Patriarch John X, His Grace Patriarchal Vicar Bishop Romanos (Al-Hannat) and His Grace Patriarchal Assistant Bishop Moussa (Al-Khoury) received a joint Lebanese-Syrian delegation headed by Mr. Marwan Haidar.
The meeting took place within the framework of ongoing efforts with the new political administration in Syria, during which views were exchanged on the current developments and the importance of joint efforts to enhance stability and cooperation for the benefit of the nation and society. Emphasis was placed on the Church’s commitment to raising its voice in defense of human dignity and rights, as well as working towards peace and reconciliation in service of the common good.
