His Eminence, the Most Reverend Metropolitan Ignatius (Al-Houshi)
Born in Damascus, Syria, in 1970, he holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of Damascus, a Bachelor of Theology from the University of Athens, and a Diploma in Byzantine Music from the National Conservatory o Music in Athens. He was ordained a Bishop in 2011. He was elected a Metropolitan in the year 2013
